Music In Motion
Music in Motion is a high energy group of hearing, hard-of-hearing and deaf children (4 years and up) and young adults performing American sign language to music and promoting understanding of deaf culture and sign language.
Founded in 1999, Music in Motion performs at many kinds of events, ranging from birthday parties to parades. Each year Music in Motion performs at the Las Vegas-Paradise Sertoma awards banquet, in the Disability Awareness Day, the Las Vegas St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the Make-A-Wish Foundation picnic, and many other venues upon invitation.
Music in Motion meets every Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Each practice session includes an American sign language vocabulary class.
Adults are encouraged to take part and support all group activities; interpreters are always welcome to help teach sign language to the group.
Lifetime membership is a one time fee of $15 and Music in Motion T-shirts are $7 each. All procedes from performances support Las Vegas Paradise Sertoma activities.
